Water always flows downhill, so they say. But it can also be moved in all other directions – important in aquaculture and water treatment. These topics will be discussed at the 9th CIO Working Group on Water Technologies on 14 September 2022 from 13:00 -16:00. Interesting aspects of recirculation systems, including economic considerations of aquaculture systems, are on the agenda. How it works in practice can be learned from the Roof Water Farm Berlin, among others. The ILU will also be present, represented by Prof. Dr. Daniel Pleissner, who will present the use of waste and residual materials from aquacultures in the cultivation of the heterotrophic microalgae Galdieria sulphuraria.
