Coordination Office for Experimental Testing<\/h3>\n

Who are We?<\/h2>\n

The Coordination Office for Research-Based Testing was launched in April 2020 by the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Climate Protection of the State of Brandenburg (MLUK).<\/p>\n

The Coordination Office is based at the Institute for Food and Environmental Research (ILU) in Bad Belzig.<\/p>\n

The overall goal is to bring the knowledge from test sites in Brandenburg into agricultural practice. Likewise, questions from practice should also be specifically directed to the scientists.<\/p>\n

Ines Gromes is head of the Coordination Office. She works on the board of the ILU e.V. and has many years of experience in transfer activities.<\/p>\n

Julian Delbr\u00fcgge has been responsible for public relations and networking since August 2020. He is a trained forest engineer and previously worked as an editor for a forest technology magazine for ten years. In addition to topics in agricultural testing, he also deals with questions about agroforestry systems.<\/p>\n

Maxie Gr\u00fcter joined the team on January 1st, 2021. She studied agricultural sciences at Humboldt University and has practical experience in project coordination and agricultural education.<\/p>\n

What do we do?<\/h2>\n

We connect test centres with each other and with practice in the field. Researchers at the various test sites are welcome to find out what their colleagues from other research institutions are currently working on: Maybe they can support and complement each other. Many farmers also have issues that affect their everyday agricultural life. The test centres may already have workable solutions. Thus, scientists and farmers can mutually benefit from each other’s experiences. The Coordination Office helps by bringing those involved together and, where necessary, initiating bi- or multilateral projects.<\/p>\n
