The goal is to develop sustainable and competitive cultivation systems and value chains within the feed and food sector. Assisted by 20 existing value chains and networks that reflect the diversity of European legume cultivation, LegValue aims to illustrate the value that leguminous crops can have for each actor. One of the project outcomes is intended to be a simple-to-use tool for listing leguminous crops for the specific situation of each potential cultivator and suited to the prevailing conditions. A further aim is to increase market transparency for the trade and utilisation of leguminous crops.<\/p>\n<p>ILU was involved, alongside national and international partners, in recording the forms of processing and innovations in the leguminous crop sector that are currently being conducted by companies.
