{"id":1080,"date":"2021-06-08T12:00:15","date_gmt":"2021-06-08T10:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/relaunch.ilu-ev.de\/?post_type=avada_portfolio&#038;p=1080"},"modified":"2021-06-15T11:45:48","modified_gmt":"2021-06-15T09:45:48","slug":"sumo","status":"publish","type":"avada_portfolio","link":"https:\/\/www.ilu-ev.de\/en\/portfolio-items\/sumo\/","title":{"rendered":"SUMO"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-1 fusion-flex-container nonhundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling\" style=\"--awb-border-radius-top-left:0px;--awb-border-radius-top-right:0px;--awb-border-radius-bottom-right:0px;--awb-border-radius-bottom-left:0px;--awb-flex-wrap:wrap;\" ><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row fusion-flex-align-items-flex-start fusion-flex-content-wrap\" style=\"max-width:1248px;margin-left: calc(-4% \/ 2 );margin-right: calc(-4% \/ 2 );\"><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-0 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-flex-column\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-width-large:100%;--awb-margin-top-large:0px;--awb-spacing-right-large:1.92%;--awb-margin-bottom-large:0px;--awb-spacing-left-large:1.92%;--awb-width-medium:100%;--awb-spacing-right-medium:1.92%;--awb-spacing-left-medium:1.92%;--awb-width-small:100%;--awb-spacing-right-small:1.92%;--awb-spacing-left-small:1.92%;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\" style=\"--awb-content-alignment:center;\"><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In accordance with the action plan of the EU and CELAC states from 2013 for the increased development of <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">political\u00a0and\u00a0economic\u00a0cooperation,\u00a0the\u00a0Institute AZTI (Spain), CVR (Portugal), INTI (Argentina), INIA (Uruguay), CEAP (Chile)\u00a0and\u00a0ILU (Germany)\u00a0have\u00a0combined\u00a0their\u00a0potential in\u00a0order\u00a0to\u00a0develop\u00a0complementary\u00a0approaches<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">for\u00a0the\u00a0use\u00a0of\u00a0by-products<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">from\u00a0olive\u00a0and\u00a0rapeseed\u00a0oil\u00a0production, in\u00a0the\u00a0process\u00a0reducing\u00a0environmental\u00a0impact\u00a0and\u00a0supporting\u00a0the\u00a0competitiveness\u00a0of\u00a0oil\u00a0mills.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The\u00a0main\u00a0focus\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">of\u00a0the\u00a0ILU was\u00a0higher-quality\u00a0use<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">of\u00a0rapeseed\u00a0by-products\u00a0than\u00a0is\u00a0currently\u00a0the\u00a0case,\u00a0based\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0development\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0process\u00a0with\u00a0CO<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">2<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0high-pressure\u00a0extractions,\u00a0with\u00a0single-screw\u00a0and\u00a0twin-screw\u00a0extruders<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and\u00a0of\u00a0applications\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0cosmetics\u00a0and\u00a0feed\u00a0sectors.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Following the stock assessments which have been carried out on a country and product specific basis and identification of stakeholders, technology and\u00a0 product developments were carried out with rapeseed press and filter cake (RPC; RFC) of the decentralised oil mill \u201cFl\u00e4minger Genussland\u201d, Spanish olive pomace and pulp<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and\u00a0Chilean\u00a0olive\u00a0pomace\u00a0cultivated\u00a0microalgae\u00a0(<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Chlorella\u00a0pr.<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">).\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">First\u00a0of\u00a0all\u00a0drying,\u00a0milling\u00a0and\u00a0extraction\u00a0trials,\u00a0sensory\u00a0and\u00a0physico-chemical\u00a0microbiological\u00a0analyses\u00a0were\u00a0carried\u00a0out.\u00a0Subsequently\u00a0lipophilic\u00a0extracts<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and degreased\u00a0 extraction residues were produced through small scale<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">CO<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">2<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0high-pressure\u00a0extractions.\u00a0With\u00a0yields\u00a0of\u00a018%, a golden\u00a0brown\u00a0rapeseed\u00a0press\u00a0cake\u00a0extract\u00a0was\u00a0obtained\u00a0along\u00a0with,\u00a0of\u00a08.6%, a\u00a0green-yellow\u00a0olive\u00a0pomace\u00a0extract. Samples\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0intermediate\u00a0products<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">were sent to the project partners and used for their own application\u00a0 developments<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">of\u00a0cosmetic\u00a0formulations\u00a0and\u00a0extruded\u00a0tilapia\u00a0feed.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The\u00a0basic\u00a0feasibility\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0developed\u00a0utilisation\u00a0technologies<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and\u00a0the\u00a0applications\u00a0was\u00a0proven.
